Creative industries are evolving quickly with the use of Generative AI.
For many years, I've employed the technique of photobashing: scouring the internet for source imagery, and then combining the elements to create something new (like a collage kinda). This is, for lack of a better term, old-school GenAI. Except, I was the robot.
Turnarounds are quick, and creatives have to adapt to the changing landscape. To this day, I still use photobashing as a technique. Now, instead of scouring the internet, I use GenAI to create the individual elements of a concept. I can still turn around multiple concepts in a day, and the product is human art!
